On the Road again… Moving and Speaking
FamilyNews, ISI Dallas/Fort Worth, ISI Other, ISI UTAIf there are any words that would describe the last two weeks it would be moving and speaking. Many students were leaving town this week and they left much furniture for future students. We moved alot of furniture. On one evening this last week we had to rent a u-haul to clear five apartments of furniture in a three hour period. We had a small team of students help but we just barely were able to get everything in storage in time before it closed. It was good fellowship though as several of the new MBA students from China helped out with physical labor.
Today, I am writing this to you from Houston. Another trip, another wonderful opportunity to share about what God is doing in North Texas through M:28. This is at the ACMI conference, a trade conference of peers who minister to international students. Quite a few people were intrigued by what they learned from us and want to implement it. Praise the Lord!
Here are some quick things to thank God for…
- Almost done withe first version of the M:28 Documents after the whole ISI DFW team spent countless hours group editing it.
- Derrah Jackson and I were able to share the M:28 introduction at a workshop of the Association of Christians Ministering to International Students. Many leaders from other organizations that reach out to international werethere and were intrigued by what we had to share.
- We were able to buy a used High Mileage Camry Hybrid 2009. It is a great car that God provided.
