Superbowl, Surgery, 2 groups
ISI TCU, ISI UTA
February 7, 2013
Another week passed so incredibly quickly. Once again much happened this week. We were blessed. Oh and the pictue on the right is at the end of the night (when many already left) at the TCU ICF Superbowl party at Bennie & Patti’s house. I was able to bring some UTA Students as well. It was fun and a greater sense of community happened because of the shared experience. Oh… and check out an article in the UTA school paper about the Big Howdy.
Some quick hits:
- My colleague, UTA ISI team leader Ron Bunyard had corrective surgery this week. Things went well. He will be completely out of pocket this week and will not be fully back until the end of February. Praise God that things went well.
- We thought this would be a light Friday night at UTA for the two ISI Teams (Starbucks – us, and Plantarium) because of a UTA events. Both were blessed with some new people and many of the regulars came in spite of the other event. In the Starbucks group we had a fair number of middle eastern students come. It was a blessing. Both groups also are starting to have a consistent group coming to Bible study.
- The M:28 Training at TCU went well as 5 people learned about the whole M:28 paradigm ministry strategy.
- The TCU Superbowl party was very well attended and I really had some time to focus on building community with a group of students.
