A Serious International Sports Fan, Real example of Spiritual Warfare
ISI Dallas/Fort Worth, ISI Other, ISI TCU, ISI UTA

One of the interesting things the last couple of semesters is that there are a lot more sports loving students than in the past. If you look at the attached picture, the gentleman to the far right next to Ricardo, Yo, flew out to San Diego on Sunday to watch the Cowboys play the Chargers and then when I was able to get tickets to the Rangers Tie Breaker game on Monday, he was incredibly excited that he was able to go because he thought he wouldn’t be able to get tickets while in San Diego. (Check out other pictures from the game and other pictures from September)
- We had to postpone another event due to rain, the Family Weekend TCU Tailgate. The blessing is we will be able to reschedule that next week for TCU’s homecoming game. This gathering is a blessing to the students who don’t have family and friends visiting like the other students.
- We had the most remarkable experience yesterday when the ISI national ministry had a special “experts on call” conference call for all staff featuring our prayer mentor, and UTA ISI team member, Clyde. In the middle of the call, an ad started to play on the conference call in a loud manner for 5-10 minutes. Then, toward the end, when Clyde was just about to share one of the most important things in Spiritual Warfare, the call just dropped off. This had never happened before with this service. We were later able to reconnect but what a perfect example of Spiritual Warfare for the listeners. It’s a good example of why your prayers are so important.
