Sharing Christ's Love with International Students in North Texas

Roy Traveling to Asia . . . Again!

ISI Other, Ministry, RoyNews

How Can I help?

Didn’t he just go to Hong Kong and China last March? Yes, he did, and he has been called back to lead another training session on using ISI’s M:28 discipleship materials. Some of the people who attended last year’s conference will be back for Part 2 this year, which Roy will be leading in conjunction with our ISI colleague Teri Crowell. We will be training 75 people (The limit for the site where we will be teaching – 2x more than last year) from all around Asia and the Pacific Rim on how to help international students to be difference makers back home. The trip will go from March 28-April 12.

After the conference during the first week of April, he will be heading to Taiwan to visit former students. This will be something of a challenge, as we have been involved with international students for nearly 20 years and know former students from many different eras and locations in Taiwan.

AnchorWe would appreciate your prayers for us as Roy will once again be away from home for 2 weeks. Pray for Lisa as she manages our busy home front while Roy is away. Pray for Roy’s safety in travel and for anointing of the Holy Spirit during the teaching time in Hong Kong, that it will bear much fruit for the Kingdom of God.

Also, please pray as Roy seeks to arrange meetings in Taiwan with groups of former students. Pray for key people who will help him set up the meetings, and that he can be an encouragement to many of our friends there. We need people who are willing to pray regularly while Roy is on this trip. Let us know if you are interested.

While ISI is covering the Hong Kong portion of the trip, Roy needs to raise funds to cover the Taiwan portion. (approx. $1200 ) Would you consider giving toward this special need? (http://give.yabukibreeze.comIf you can give an extra gift this month above and beyond your usual giving, it would help tremendously. We ask you to direct any extra gifts into our regular ministry account. That way, if we receive more than he needs to cover trip costs, it can be used to meet our regular ministry expenses.
