Sharing Christ's Love with International Students in North Texas

Six burning piles of charcoal in a circle

ISI UTA

Imagine 6 grills around a large pavilion at River Legacy Park in Arlington burning hot with the sweet aroma of all kinds of food from around the world cooking.  (check out pictures in our May 2013 pictures page) That was what it was like last Friday during the UTA ISI end-of-the-year picnic. The pavilion was full of students and volunteers from both home groups at UTA enjoying each other and the beautiful weather and sharing many different types of food. The end of the year is upon us. The friendships this year were sweet and this picnic was a reminder of all that happened. Gary, a key team member of the Starbucks group shared with me about a remarkable dinner he had that week with a couple of the Ch1nese EMBA students. We received an email from another team member Robyn about another special conversation with another Taiwanese student. God is working. You all are a part of that. Thanks so much.
