Sharing Christ's Love with International Students in North Texas

New M:28 groups! M:28 spreading, Huge TCU Gathering

ISI UTA, Praise

(See related July Pictures) It often takes a while for a relationship to build to the point where we can encourage students to consider exploring the Bible together to Discover God and Jesus. On their own they ask and of course we want to share. It is a real joy to have a day when one student or group of students does this. It is especially special when a couple do separately on the same day. That was the kind of day it was. Last Friday, we had a special Friday Night gathering at the Moores. Both the Starbucks group and the Planetarium group were there and it was a good time of fun and fellowship (see panorama to the right). There were many great things that happened there. The most exciting was that we scheduled a M:28 Discovery Bible study with two students with team member Gary and I AND as I shared with another student about this study, he expressed interest in doing the same. Wow!

Praises

  • A team member (of Arlington) shared about their multiple missions trips this summer (India, Ch1na, Macedonia, etc.) with me personally at our Friday gathering and it was exciting to see what God did through them and their children. Many became followers of Jesus, and they blessed many. In addition, Todd shared at an “hidden” Bible institute about doing M:28 in a closed country in Asia! Wow.
  • The TCU team shared with me that over 120 people were at the July 4 Party for their ministry to the TCU international students. Many of these students were new. Praise the Lord!!!
  • Met with A large church in Fort Worth and they are excited about partnering with the TCU ministry.
  • The training with Clyde for the UTA ISI Team to look at improving each of our individual and group prayer ministries went very very well.
