As I write this, we(Roy, T-8 & C-5) are stuck in Detroit with bad weather east of us so I though I would forward this to all our Yabuki Breeze People. Anyway, just wanted to share some stuff with all of you from this week for those of you who might be interested.

As I prepare to go to the airport in 25 minutes, I felt it important to let you know about what we all are doing because prayer will be very important to us this week. I will post more later in the week. Here is a quick snapshot of what we will be doing with some specific prayer requests.

* J-11 & Lisa will be leaving for Amarillo, TX on Sunday. Jonathan has been preparing for this last week the last three years. As part of their Wednesday night program, our church trains our kids from third grade on for a mission trip. All who complete the program have the privlidge of going on the sixth grade missions trip. Jonathan has completed the program and this is the week of the trip. Jonathan & Lisa will be going to Amarillo where a team of sixth graders will work in an impovrished part of town. The kids (with a small group of parents watching & coaching) will bring free lunches to the kids in the neighborhood, lead Bible Study, counsel people about their spiritual life, lead worship & puppet, etc. Normally, college students work with the ministry they are working with… This week it is the Fielder Road sixth graders. Please pray:
o For safety on the long bus trip there and back
o For the power of the Holy Spirit as the kids minister to the kids in Amarillo.
o For God’s presence & safety as the kids minister in a poorer neighborhood.
o For some opportunities for Jonathan & the other kids to enjoy the opportunty share the about God personally (usually happens) through their words and actions..
o Pray for Lisa and the others to be good coaches, seeing what the Spirit is doing in the kids lives.
* Roy, T-8, & C-5 are headed to Niagara Falls (tough work…:-) ) to go to the ISI National staff conference. It is a time of catching up and learning together with other ISI Staff. Roy is leading some seminars and things on technology & ministry. Running out of time here… For those of you on facebook, I’ll keep you up to date on my page…. so I’ll cut to the chase… Pray for…
o Safety in travel up and back and around Niagara Falls
o Pray for God’s words as Roy shares some important and useful stuff
o Pray for God’s presence as C-5 is away from mom for a long time
o Pray that T-8 can be a good brother and help in many ways.
